Jim Corbett National Park is one of the oldest national parks in the world, situated in Nainital, Uttarakhand.

Jim Corbett National Park consists of four zones:

1. The Core Zone -This is the first zone and constitutes no human activity as well as protects the wildlife creatures from illegal haunting.
2. The buffer Zone -This is the second zone and acts as a transition between human settlement and the Core Zone. Activities such as Rafting, Hiking, and Camping are allowed in this area after getting granted permission from the forest authorities.
3. The Tourism Zone - This is the third zone and has hotels, resorts, and trekking facilities for visitors like Dhikuli.
4. The peripheral or buffer zones -These zones are approximately 10 km away from the park like Ramnagar.

• Wildlife Species:

Phato zone is also known as the Terai-Duar savanna and grasslands ecoregion. It is home to many wildlife animals like the Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, wild boars, chital deer, and sambars.
Phato zone has many kinds of birds like Grey Hornbill, River lapwing, Drongos, Crested Kingfisher, etc. It also constitutes the tallest tree in India - the Shisham tree.

• Night Stay:

To stay within this zone, visitors get two types of house packages:

• The Tree House

The accommodation is provided at tree houses. The tree houses have 1 room only.

• Forest Rest House

The accommodation rooms are provided within the forest areas. The Forest houses have 02 rooms.

• Jeep Safari:

A Jeep Safari is a popular outdoor adventure activity that involves exploring natural landscapes, such as wildlife reserves, national parks, or rugged terrains, in a specially designed Jeep vehicle. It offers a thrilling and up-close experience with nature and wildlife. It can easily lead you to have close sight of all wildlife animals. It is fast in comparison to all Safaris as well. Remember to pack some warm clothes too as it may get cold at night.
