The Corbett Landscape Zone is a protected area located in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The mind-blowing thing about this zone is that one can view different kinds of birds throughout the season . It is named after Jim Corbett, a British-Indian hunter, who played a key role in establishing the area's protected status. Visitors may also get a look at Vultures which had already disappeared from the cities. It is considered to be the favorite spot for tourist walking. The entire place is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

The Corbett Landscape Zone encompasses a diverse range of habitats, including dense forests, grasslands, rivers, and hills. It covers an area of approximately 1,318 square kilometers and is known for its rich biodiversity and wildlife conservation efforts. You need to get permission from the forest department to get the Jeep safari. The zone is particularly renowned for its population of Bengal tigers, which are one of the main attractions for visitors. It is estimated that the Corbett Landscape Zone is home to around 200 tigers, making it one of the important tiger habitats in India. Apart from tigers, the area supports a wide variety of other wildlife species, including leopards, elephants, deer, wild boars, and numerous bird species.

  • Corbett Waterfall:

  • Garjia Devi Temple:

Visitors Season:

The Corbett Landscape Zone remains closed during monsoons I.e. from 16th June to 14th November and remains open for the rest of the months.
