Canter, a kind of bus, is run in Jim Corbett National Park Dhikala zone for the tourists to get an opportunity to observe the vastness of nature and observe natural habitat. The canter has 18 seats that the staff, tourist guide and tourists occupy and it takes the passengers through the deep Sal forest enchanting tourists with the sight of wild animals and diversified flora. Traveling in the vastness of forest observing the wonders of nature and thrilling with the sight of deadly wild beings just some foot away is memorable experience.
Tourists should have permissions to stay in the national park to wander through Dhikala zone experiencing Canter Safari. One can get permission for one to three days stay from Corbett Tiger Reserve. Overnight stay inside the park is a lifetime memory most tourists want to treasure and Dhikala zone witnesses thousands of national and international tourists every year.
Cost for Canter Safari is INR 1500 and the cost includes park permit, road tax, guide and driver fee and open safari. Children below age 4 are not charged and not included among the 16 tourists.
